Can I use Smart2Go (maps) with a Bluetooth GPS instead?

Would this be possible because it really drains the battery using the internal one and a bluetooth GPS i was looking at has 30 hours per charge.

Is it as simple as changing a setting or would it be more complicated to get this working?

It should be as simple as changing the setting for it: menu > Tools > Settings > General > Positioning > Positioning methods > Bluetooth GPS

I can confirm it works fine, with the added advantage that it fixes satellites quicker. Don't forget to untick the internal option when selecting the Bluetooth option.
