Mass storage problems

- What are you doing/trying to do when the error message appears?

after connecting pc suite (that works sweet), I want 2 switch 2 mass storage 2 put some tomtom maps in the E:
then it states that I use the memeory card with messages .
Changed that 2 phone memory and back again with mass storage..
Again the error that it won't work because an app still uses the memory card.
I check the task manager and nothing is opened..
I have a lot experience with the Nokia and connecting
But never B4 this....

Check the following:-

1. Messages - are they stored in the phone memory or the memory card?
2. Do you have any auto-start programs (e.g. eRecorder, Virus Checkers) that are installed on the card and not on the internal memory?

On my N95 I have to change the messages store to use phone memory before I can start Mass Storage mode, then after I am finished I change message store back to Memory Card.

open up ur fones app manager, can u see any apps that say NOT INSTALED? if so remove/delete them

You have installed something (like Shozu or whatever). Uninstall it (or other apps), until the problem disappears (try after you've uninstalled an app, and when the problem goes away, you'll know which one it was).

Have you tried turning your default setting to mass storage and then plugging the usb in? Thats what I have been doing when I use mine?

to file manage your maps across to E: ?? :con?

Did all that, nothing works....

Just posted a new topic....

Now the complete pc suite won't work anymore!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Everytime the error pops up.... No connection type available....
It seems like there is no com port available (I have 3 available usb).
How do i get 2 the com ports in the vista?
