As this deletes everything on the phones memory, will I lose my subscription?
What happens to my Maps (smart2go) subscription if I update firmware?
No, your subscription is fine. When you access Maps again it checks via GPRS and recognises that you already have a subscription. Not sure how this all works, but my maps is fine and it recognised that I have a subscription to Western Europe.
