Does anybody now the correct settings to configure gmail using the Vodafone network? When I initially set it up it retrieved email then it stopped working.
I had exactly the same problem with a n93 with O2 carrier in the UK

I agree its good I run it too. The disadvantage is that the application does not notify you automatically when new email comes in, you have to check yourself
The n95 email client does notify or at least is supposed to. Under the o2 carrier I cracked my head with an O2 service represantative to get the right settings for at least half an hour no succes.
Yeah I had a lot of trouble with getting it set up in the email client so gave up. I don't need to have it notify me for gmail and have emoze for work email.
I believe there is a trick with the ports you use but I can't remember what they are. Google "gmail port numbers phone" and see what happens
