I have downloaded some themes for my Nokia n80 but when I try to install it, the message: "Expired certificate" always appears. What's wrong? How can I install my themes? This is the first time that I had any problems installing themes on my phone.

Please help. Thank you. :con?

Babi, a prolific S60 3rd Edition theme maker, mentions on his site that theme certificates expire after 1 year, which will cause the message you're getting.

The way around this is to change the phone's date to 1 year earlier. After you've installed the theme(s) you want the clock can then be set back to the present.

Tried this one and made my date a year in advance but still, I keep getting the 'EXPIRED CERTIFICATE' message. :frown:

I'd actually like to find out how to delete themes off my n80. PC Suite wont allow me to do it as it says it cannot explore this model phone (through install applications)
I can't find them through the other explorer functions either.
is there any other way other than doing a hard reset and just reload the ones I want?
thanks

I got that same message on my phone for one of my themes. I just changed the date back to 2006 and it worked fine.

You might have to try a few times and mess around with the year because when I first tried it I tried using 2004 and it wouldn't work, then I tried 2005 and it didn't work, then 2006 worked fine.

i got a problem that half of my installed themes isn`t found in the APP manager , please is there any other way to del the themes ?
