E62 doc writer error

Hello:
I have the following problem with the document application that comes with my E62. After a few days, sometimes weeks, whenever I try to open a doc file that I edit only in the phone, and which I regularly use (its a log book of my daily activities at work), it displays a message that reads: "invalid file format".

And I cannot open that file anymore. I do not format the file at all, I just start writing, hoping that it was a formatting error, but it produces the same error. I have tried with different fonts, justification, etc, with the same result.

But I am able to open the file in my pc with either word or other word processor.

I have no idea what to do. Can anyone help? Thank you.

Hi photokin,

i have exactly the same problems on my Nokia E70. The DocWriter Software is very unreliable. I often had the problem with a "invalid file format" error message, after editing the file a couple of time. The difference is that i cannot open it within PC-Software - the file seems to be damaged. Yesterday i upgraded the firmware to v 3.06 and no improvement. The error exists since v1.x

I currently use QuickOffice Premier v4 for editing DOC-Files.
