i installed an application named PowerLock on my nokia 3230.
it had features like can set screen saver as animated gif and inbuilt screensavers.
i set an gif animation as screen saver. after 1 minute the screen saver started with blank screen including some weird signal levels.
only a few buttons worked, but they only turned on the backlight.
i couldnt see anything working, so i jus formatted cell with *#7370# something.
it worked well, but when it restarted it was freshly installed OS with menu key not working only can receive calls and redial.
i want to ask i have backup of my cell, i just need the symbian OS where can i get it and can i install it through my PC.
What After formatting??
You don't need (can't) reinstall Symbian through a PC. It is already there in ROM (Read-Only Memory). Instead, just do a full reformat as follows:

i dont see menus and icons when press and hold menu key :icon13: .
