Hehe. yer telling me! They're making a mockery of our classics!

Heart of Gold, Shooting Star, Field of Dreams, etc etc.....

I reserve the right to whinge and moan that shooting star has been overplayed and over-remixed, but to be able to rave my titties off when it's dropped.

I reserve the right to call flip and fill a pair of scene-destroying mongs without any real evidence 😃

I still wish they hadnt touched my precious toons. People say it'll help the scene, but the people listening to the chart version werent there at the beginning, they DONT KNOW WHAT THEY'RE MESSING WITH!

/me starts to mutate and burst out of clothes mum-ra/hulk (delete as appropriate) stylee

:robot: DJ Brisk rules the world. Let that be known to all mere mortals! :robot:

It's hilarious that people moaned that it was too cheesy etc in 97 and left to house music and now house music is worse, lol.

As for Brisk, F*CKING AWESOME! Great tune selection and pukka mixing. I'm a bit dissapointed with Raverbaby tho, Hixxy and UFO started good but it's all got a bit house/trancy and samey again.

True, but at least they're still trying. In general though, Im finding it hard to keep interested in the hardcore scene at all. As much as I love it, the toons just don't seem as memorable these days :?

The stuff thats getting me going most, though, is the Dutch nu-style stuff.
If you havent heard the Scott Brown vs Neophyte album, "Hardcore - A New Beginning" I would suggest purchasing immediately. Available from independant record shops, or www.amazon.co.uk

I prefer the mid 90s stuff myself. The oldskool sets Vibes plays now are good cos they are tunes that get me going. As for memorable tunes, some are coming out but they are still not as many as the old days.
