Nokia Sports Tracker was showing a black screen instead of the map

I tried the Nokia Sports Tracker and had a black screen where I'm assuming it should have been displaying the map of my location. It was odd - it showed my route, as in there was a green line plotting my direction, but there was no map, just a black screen. It took a while for the GPS to locate satellites but I'm not sure this was the reason.... it should have shown the maps once it picked up the satellites.... everything else seemed fine on the Sports Tracker.

Has anyone got any clues as to what the problem is? Thanks

I think this is how Sports Tracker is supposed to work, if not then I have the same problem!

It doesn't plot on an actual map until you export it.... (ie: when you're done and back home on the PC) The black screen is the intended display.... and the green line indicates the GPS signal strength..... yellow for weak and red for nowt at all.

I think the software is spot on... once i finish on my cycle trails, I save them as Google KML files and email them home whilst in the car!
