My T9 dictionary has gone berserk and is putting "yot" as the default instead of "you" and "bs" instead of "as"! I've searched the forum and tried both options i found which are:-
1) Type in the word then scroll through each option until you get to "spell" then type in the correct word.
2) Type in the word then click on the pencil key > edit word > type in correct word > ok.
I've done both options for both words about twenty times each and no luck 😞 is there any way to delete these words from the dictionary or at least to change the defaults?

You could try a hard reset.
Don't panic,
Same happened to mine, cant remember which word it was...........
If your text is coming up as "BS" instead of "AS" just do the following:
Create new text.
Type the word "AS" yours will come up "BS".
Change it to "AS" with the * key.
Now repeat the above (I think about 5 times) your phone will learn that you want to input the word "AS" from then on it will bring up "AS" as the first prediction.
Technology eh!!

I had the same prob and this post just caught my eye. Had to create several texts changing to 'you' each time, but now my phone has learnt to put it as the first option!!

Yeah, great tip. My phone keeps putting mk instead of ok! - I live in Milton Keynes and use mk a lot but would rather have ok first as I am sure that is used more!!

I think the phone 'learns' which words you use more. Beef's tip basically retrains the phone to use the more common word but if you keep using MK you may get the problem coming back.
