Sync phones calendar with GoogleCalendar

Hey guys,

I use Google calendar for my calendar appointments and wondering if there is a way for me to use the sync these appointments with my Nokia N95?

Got any ideas?

I just got this from Stuart at Goosync. My problem was that anniversaries/birthdays on the handset weren't getting uploaded to Google. I think Stuart's use of the word "feature" is extremely generous, even if he has put it in quotes.

"Hi,

I've checked your log files and they show that none of the events sent
from your device contained any repeat structures. This means that they
just appeared as single events when GooSync received them (and any of
them that were outside of the sync window were marked as pending and
not sent to Google).

This appears to be a "feature" of the newer Nokia devices. The events
are sent with a specific event type (in this case a lot of your events
were sent as "anniversary" types, indicating they are yearly repeats),
and certain types are not sent with repeats.

Development have been informed and they are investigating whether we
can correctly determine these event types and work out the repeat rule
from them. "

Yes, thanks for the heads up on this. It's ruddy annoying. I hope Goosync can fix this.

The google calendar sync I have is called gcalsync, there is no interface, is just syncs with the nokia calendar and is done. I don't know - maybe they are the same thing. But you might want to check it out?

gcalsync doen't support reminders either at the moment and their program interface isn't as slick. Also, recurring events get treated as multiple events, which can cause a headache. But, it's opensource, which is always a good thing.
