This might sound stupid as it's meant to be a guidance thing anyway but can you force sat nav software (I have copilot for the N95) to go down certain roads? I'm off to Portsmouth at the weekend (from Yorkshire) and the route it finds is really strange, it either takes me down the M1 onto the M25 which I don't really want or if I try to 'force' it down roads (by adding waypoints for things like villages that run side by side with the motorway, probably where I am going wrong!) I normally take it adds in all sorts of other roads that don't make sense when there is a direct motorway route?
