Remote S60 UI Control from PC?

Is there any application that will let you see and control the GUI on the S60 (V3) from a PC?

My screen has gone and i'd like to backup all the contacts to the sim card but obviously without being able to see the screen this isn't possible.

Also note that I can't choose the PC Link/Bridge etc option when you plug in the USB port as the buttons on the front of the screen don't seen to be working either (water damage).

Any suggestions/solutions to this problem would be appriciated.

Yikes. If it is water damage, I would suggest turning the phone off and putting in a warm place for a couple of days to dry it out. Then I would power it on and see if you can connect it. If not, I don't know of any devices to pull the data off the phone I'm afraid. I guess the moral is to put everything on your phone and do a backup straight away.

Sorry I cannot be of more help.

Thanks for the reply, i'm not too fussed that the phone is water damaged as it's insured anyway and I will get a new handset, it's just the data on the phone...to be honest i've not tried connecting it to the PC yet and I may find a way round backing it up.

You are right though, perhaps this will teach me to keep regular backups to the SD card.
