dear mates;
when i received e-mails, i can not see or preview html attachmnets. I ve installed web viewer.(I wrote this because, you can surf the web with this s/w and it must support html format).Do u have any suggestion???

Yeah, you cant see html attachments. As 7650 does not have inbuilt
html viewer / or native symbian one. The webviewer is just java and
I think that it cannot be linked to, like native apps can.

And besides I think that the webviwer couldnt really read html, because
it works thru special proxy that formats html to much simpler form.

Dont think thats implemented in Doris yet.
It should work if it is or can be linked to html files.
I havent tried Doris yet. (not enough "disk" space on my 7650).
Bought it allready though. 😃

HTML attachments are still handled by built-in browser even if Doris is installed.

Clarification: On 7650 html files are recognized as text/plain and handled by Notepad. On 3650 they are text/html and handled by Browser.

😃 Ok. Now its cleared. 😃
But can you type addresses on Doris to point to C: or D: drive?
That way it could be solved 😃

No. No file selection dialog, and file:// URL's do not work.

install emailviewer from www.reqwireless.com. It's a very good email program, takes about 50kb. With it you can open html links, zip files, pdf, doc...
