I just upgraded my Firmware from NORMAL N73 to N73ME. Now I can't use the camera, at all. Sliding the shutter makes the screen goes horizontal, pauses while it loads, but ends up at the main menu. Same with selecting camera function from the menu.
I did NOT change the product code back after the firmware upgrade.
Any help? Thanks a lot!

[EDIT:] After trying a couple more times, the screen actually went black with the numbers of photos allowed to take with the given memory down in bottom left. That was as far as it goes.

I have a N73 ME, sometimes it takes longer when I activate te camera, it needs a lot of memory. Maybe turning the phone off and on a few times may help.

Thanks for the help! It works temporarily, as is, in works as soon as I restart the phone, but after a while, it goes back to the "I do not want the camera to work" mode again.
Anyway to solve this permanently? Failing that, what is the quickest way to restart the OS. Sometimes when I see smethng good, I want a pic of it rightaway and this is not helping.

Try re-installing the latest ME firmware. I have the latest ME firmware and have no camera problems.

just connect your phone to the usb cable, open the Software Update tool from nokia, it will check for available update, it will tell you ( " No update was found, but you still can re-install the latest firmware" ) .. choose "yes" 😊
