N93 still picture problem

my nokia n93 can't take picture in broad daylight, the picture will be total white...even when i take picture in low light, i can see the picture is over expose.
i have the latest firmware...i have no problem with video recording..turned out alright...

i have tried different settings, set the exposure to -2 etc, the result is still the same in broad daylight.
even when i take picture indoor i have to set exposure to -2 to reduce the over exposure.:-/

so what can i do to fix it?
is it hardware prob or software?

am i the only one having this problem?

V 20.0.058
21-10-06
RM-55
N93 (08.01)

thats very odd because daylights the time i get the best pictures (probably because the n93 flash is poo :B)

my vital stats are the same as yours except the line
"n93 (52.01)" which i have no idea what that means... but it might give an insight

my suggestions are...
the usual, take it to a nokia repair center blah blah blah
and check nothins tamperin with the lens or that nothin has tampered with the lens

sorry not much of use there, just babble...

i already reinstalled the firmware etc, the result is still the same...
now apparently i can only take pictures at night or in a very dim light places🙄
even at night or in a very dim light places i have to set white balance to sunny
and exposure to -2 in order to get decent, not too exposed pictures

is it the shutter problem, white balance or exposure problem??

video recording is not affected. working 100%.

this sounds like a firmware problem if video recordin is not affected... but if youve reinstalled the firmware then im completely baffled...

im thinkin now it could be a shutter problem and it simply stays open and lets too much light in instead of closin, which is why the video works because it doesnt use a shutter (in the same way?)... possibly... :S
