Dear All Member,

I need ur help, I was updateing my P990i with Latest software, and after downloading the software by the updater, it showed me Update failed, and suggested to disconnect the phone from USB and reconnect, I did the same, but its not connection, even worse it not even starting.....

And

Displays : "NO ORGANIZER SOFTWARE
SCCRING: 484"

Please help! What should I do.... I already wrote to sony ericsson, but I will be helpful if any one can provide a quick remedie.

Go through the reflashing procedure again and it should sort it out.

Dear Adam,

Thank you for your reply, But how to go through reflashin process, as the phone has stop connecting to the PC, Ie: the windows do not detect the phone at all.

Please suggest!

Is it that Windows doesn't recognise the hardware when connected or does the SEUS software not see the phone when you connect while holding down the "C" button?

If it's both then it sounds like a trip to your nearest service centre.

Hope you get it sorted.

I came across other people who have faced similar problems, and they all came to only one solution and that is to visit nearest Service center.... :icon2: :icon2:

For the first time, I am unable to update my p990 to the new firmware. When I started SEUS, it downloaded some upgrades, and a survey. Each time I try to upgrade the phone, it bombs out "update failed". I've tried everything, master reset, removing the sim card, etc., but it always fails during the update. Sometimes it gets as far as 46% completed, but always fails. Any suggestions? As it re-asks the survey questions about my customer satisfaction with regard to ease of use, etc., each time I restart SEUS, I have been downgrading my responses accordingly.

well finally I gave my P990i to Service Center, for the repair, Lets see what come out on Saturday, as it due then.

As for the problem of "kidlaser", I would suggest to empty you temp dir from you comp... Re download the updater from the sony's site and then try .... as It should help...

If its not working work go to nearest Service center, and let them do it for u..... As this will be the safest option 😊 😊

Today I brought back my P990i from the service center....... and I mu8st say the new upgrade has made my p990i like Superman...... phoof !!

I m loving it.......... :icon14: :icon14:
