N73 - usb connection help

So I boguht myself a N73 a few days ago. I wanted to transfer some songs and pictures from my pc so I installed the PC suite, plugged the usb in and connect it to my phone. Then theres was pop-up which said "found new hardware" on the bottom right corner and I clicked it to install it, it said "this wizard helps you install software for USB-Serial Controller (shouldn't it say something with Nokia?) Anyway, I tried to install the software automatically, and the Nokia N73 cd is already in the drive. It searched for a long while and said that "the hardware was not installed because the wizard can not find necessart software."

I've installed something similar to this with my old Samsung phone, and it installed perfectly fine. I don't understand where the problem is.

Well then, I opened the Nokia PC Suite itself, and pressed "Get Connected", I checked cable connection, the usb and phone are both connected to the PC. I click next and then it doesnt go anywhere.

I am horrible with this computer stuff, so please help me out.

Thanks.

oh my god,
i thought of buying a n73, but u r telling like this!

why nokia is like this, if u take sony ericsson, it can plugged via USB to any windows system without drivers or any PC suite.

The N73 can be connected via PC Suite or as a Mass Storage Device. When the cable is connected to the PC and phone, you are presented with a menu to choose how you wish to connect. Simply choose the method you want.

When installing PC Suite, you install the software first, then connect the device. Any required drivers are then already on the system and will be sourced directly.

Calm down vijayanand, Nokia is not "like this" 😉 Read the manual, follow the instructions and you will see all is well.
