Is it really already a month since I handed Ewan Spence the E61i and said 'Enjoy'? Here Ewan reports on his feelings for the E61i after living with it day in, day out. It's safe to say that he's pretty pleased with the device!

Nice follow-up. I'm waiting as of this moment to receive my Nokia E61i. After reading the reviews and looking at all the information, I decided to get one. Now if Fedex could only show up and fulfill that "Guaranteed 2-day shipping", I'll be elated.
I've had my E61i since May 4th and I am pleased with it (mostly). The one gripe I have is that although I bought mine direct from Nokia so that I wouldn't have to suffer carrier interference with the UI I find that the email button is hard wired to the web browser and Nokia Business Software Downloads. Web was set to use this as the home page but was easily altered. I can go to Menu/Tools/E-mail key and have a choice of Default setting or the mailbox I configured. It doesn't make any difference which I choose: pressing the email button still gets me that Nokia business page insted of messages.
I can see the point of setting the home page to somewhere like that, after all it was useful when I first got the phone but to hijack one of the selling points (dedicated email key) seems to be taking the idea too far.
If anyone knows how to sort this out I'd be gald to hear about it.
jonquirk: thats very strange indeed. what firmware do you have?
1.0633.22.05 15-02-07 Rm-227
I have exactly the same problem. No matter what setting I use in Email Key, it will always open Web. And I have the latest firmware too.
Any idea what might be wrong?!? Do I really have to hard reset the device?!?😮
I have exactly the same issue with the Email key. Press it quickly and it fires up the browser, hold it down and you get a new email template displayed. But you can't use it as a shortcut key to your emails! I have gone into the settings and switched it to my selected mailbox, but it makes no difference. I have also re-flashed the firmware (as advised by Nokia) but it makes no difference. The firmware is 1.0633.22.05 15-02-07 RM-227
I have the same problem with the email key launching Web. Firmware 1.0633.22.05 15-02-07. It's very annoying.
