When using GPRS over bluetooth phone doesn't ring when incoming voice call?

So is this how it should work because this is what I observe.

If I'm using my phone from computer bluetooth GPRS the phone doesn't ring when for an incoming call. Instead the caller is asked to leave voicemail.

Do I have something set wrong?
