I have messed around with the Power Saver Time-Out settings and also the Sleep Mode settings and NOTHING seems to affect when they really turn on.
In the user manual it says that sleep mode is supposed to turn on 20 mins AFTER the power saver time out. This is NOT the case with my phone. I have my power saver time-out set to 30 minutes, but I can press a button on my phone and then start timing how long it takes. My phone will DIM at 10 seconds (which is what I have it set to), and then the phone will go into sleep mode at 45 seconds! It does this NO MATTER WHAT. I can set the power saver time-out to ANY setting and it will ALWAYS DO THIS!
Any Ideas? :con?

This is feature of the new firmware AKA 4.0707.0.7!

Feature? Sounds more like a PROBLEM of the new firmware. I never heard of a FEATURE that makes something so it doesn't work. :icon13:
Are there any fixes for this issue?
It'll only have this behavior when the phone is locked (keypad).
Try to leave the keypad unlocked. It'll do what you've configured in Power-saving options.
So, this is a new feature, and not a bug!
I've loved this. When I know I'll not use my phone for a while, I lock the keypad and it saves a lot of battery.
It is lasting 1 day more than before.

Hmmm guess I never looked at it like that. I have Autolock installed so my phone locks automatically after like 30 seconds. Guess I will have to rethink using the autolock then.
I also thought it was a bug after I've updated.
But I left it unlocked and realized how it's working now.
IMO, I liked this new behavior.. battery lasts longer! :icon14:

Yeah I guess it makes sense now. It didn't seem logical to me at first because I have my phone set to auto lock after like 30 seconds so that I can just put the phone in my pocket and in case I forgot to lock it it will lock for me.
