I got my first N95 about 3 weeks ago and straight away put the firmware on it, after about a week whenever i went into gallery the phone crashed, the only button that would work was the button to get me back to the main screen, and even when i got there nothing on the main screen would work, phone book, messages etc. only thing i could do was turn it off!!!
So i sent it back to my insurance company and got a brand new one yesterday, updated the firmware straight away, an hour later same problem, i cant do anything with it and its really wreckin my head, is it the firmware, can i put the old version back on my phone or has anyone else had this problem????😡 😡 😡
Obvious questions first. Which firmware version did you have, which firmware version did you use, did you change the product code to update the firmware, what process exactly did you use to update the firmware?
Did you encounter anything odd or unusual when updating the firmware?
Just like a new phone .. green + 3 + * while powering on .. Do NOT restore any settings .. once you're happy its working .. then copy a few files and such back ..
there maybe a small chance of something about your SIM card or even a virus - but thats pretty small.

Not sure which firmware i had but the phone was only out of the box and i used the firmware from the sticky on this forum!!!
Dont even know what your talkin about the product codes, (sorry im not really up to speed with all this)
I did exactly as the instructions said to update and everything went grand when i was doing it!!
That reset does noy seem to work for me either, is it the green button, 3 and 8* before of after you put your pin in????
Just type *#0000# and you have your firmware version.
Since you follow the auto process, you don�t had change the product code.
Try a phone format with*#7370#.
The firmware version is V 11.0.026, when i clear the whole phone should i try the firmware again???

No you cant put any newer firmwares on that is the newest, the format only removes settings and files not the firmware, your stuck with 11.0.026.
Can anyone help me anymore with this, my phone is fu$%&d!!!! Have to turn it off the whole time cant get into anything!!
