Battery Issues

Hi,

Since upgrading to V11.0.026 battery life on my N95 has reduced to approx. 5hours.

Any ideas, during the working day the device is in standby on silent, connects for 40 minutes to a bluetooth car kit on the way in to work.

Can I roll the firmware back or will it have to go to NSC? or it could be a dodgy battery?

Are you sure nothing is running in the background? Have you done a full format, also check that Wlan scanning isnt on as it goes through the battery fast.

Same happened to me and it was Fring running in the background, removed it and the battery life was 100% better!

I get about 1.5 days out of hte battery on latest FW. (Generiuc unbranded FW)

Is your N95 displaying WiFi logo or GPRS Data logo all the time? This would drain the battery quickly.
