Hi all
I just found out that my original headset that comes with my N95 doesnt work. i can hear music ok with it, but none of the buttons work. any solution been found? Is it the phone problem or the headset problem?

Im guessing you have tried the hold button on the side of the headset remote
yeh i have tried that, it didnt work.
it has never worked. i have tried the setting it as "headset" or as "headphone" both didnt work.
I believe it's the headset. I had the exact same problem with my first N95, which was soon exchanged (for a different reason).

randomfan, did you exchange the headset or the phone to fix that problem? or they exchange both for u?
I had to send everything back, so both the phone and headset were exchanged.
When you plug the headset in, do you see the "Select Enhancement" pop up menu? I used to see the pop up menu with the faulty headset, but with the current one that actually works, I don't get asked anything - the phone seems to be able to recognise the headset automatically.
yeh i do get the Select Enhancement menu, guess i have to go to the store and get a new one
