Hi,
i am trying to setup my E61 to use my AT&T calling card, but can't find any options to add this in. Does anyone have any ideas on this either on the standard options or an aftermarket solution. My Ericsson P800 has this built in but I can't find it on the E61.
Tks David
And what is an AT&T calling card?
A phone calling card is a routing number essentially for lowest cost routing of international calls to another country by a cheaper carrier. ie If I am on Vodafone UK, I dial AT&T UK via a local number, put in my account no and PIN, and the number I need to dial (from my contacts) they then route my call via cheaper AT&T phone lines to the US to the fianl destination number. So I get 2 bills one from Vodafone for the mobile call to local AT&T number and one from AT&T for the landline cost to the US. Much cheaper.
So the phone has the local number, the account number and my PIN built in so when it sees an international number needed it uses the calling card routing automatically.
The Ericsson P800 has this built in as do many other phones, but I can't find it on the E61.
Hope this helps

Now I know what is that. When abroad I use a thing, with other name similar to that. But S60 does not have any built in application for that. I use a memorized number, like a regular number, and after that, is necessary put the PIN and the destination number one by one. But works without any problem.
AT&T are one of the largest phone companies in the world. In this case it just happens they run this calling card.
I would like to get all the inputs for the CC auto dialing, but it doesn't look like anything available. Maybe someone will come up with something?
Until then I will revert back to my P800.
