Phone main memory full?? hu??

Well this problem is two fold.. I am not sure where I've gone wrong. I havnt installed anything since this problem has arose. But the phone is telling me that my main memory is full. However if I try to install something it says there is 10MB left in the internal memory and 600MB on the micoSD card.

If I press the clock button on the Standby screen it comes up and immediately says "System Error". My assumption is that the memory is corrupt or full or something.

If I go into the Settings menu this is where its telling me the memory is full and occasionally crashes there ("Memory full!. Please close some applications and try again!", even though there is nothing running). Sometimes it lets me in and allows me to change items. When I go into the options to change the Left and Right option buttons on the standby screen it says "Loading" and stays there for good till I press the hangup button.

Another issue is if I have the headphones in and I am listening to the radio and a phone call comes in....I press the accept phone call button on the phone or the remote.. the phone just resets and looses the caller and is not in the logs or anything.

I am using Firmware V11

All S60v3 devices are not great on memory management. Do you already made a reboot? Search for background running apps?

I most certainly did!.. No other applications running in the background and I did better than a reboot.. I did a total firmware reload and its still doing it.

no.. I don't think its a hardware issue cuz once I redid the firmware and I tried to go back into those things and everything worked fine.. It wasn't till I actually said recover the backup that it started doing it again.

So it has to be a software issue.

So, hard work... Install one by one of the software files, and test which one cause that behavior.

thats the confusing part..it was as soon as I put the the backup in it did it. I hadn't even put the old software back in yet.
