Printing from N95

Anyone managed to print directly off N95 via wifi? I have shared my printer on the network but the phone dors not find it. Any help much appreciated.

This is weird, when you go to settings on the print option in gallery, the options are USB (pictbridge), Memory Card (probably print to file, not tried it!), Bluetooth (works) and WLAN, however WLAN never works, whenever search for printers all it looks for is bluetooth, which is frustrating 😞

Whats going on?

My printer is an epson r220 think i might just buy a print server shouldn't really have to cos the n95 should do it over wifi doh!!😡

Wi-Fi does not specify any kind of printing protocol. So, whatever the printer (through separate server or built-in), must be configured to support, e.g., Windows printing protocols, UNIX/Linux printing protocols, UPnP, & whatever there are available.

I haven't tried printing from a N95, but I suspect it needs UPnP (Universal Plug & Play) support from the printer (as opposed to Windows or UNIX/Linux printing support).
