I've downloaded the maps for the UK and wales to my phone and they have worked fine. I can do a rout search fine. What doesnt seem to want to work is the GPS positioning system. How do I get it to find where I am?:con?

Please Help:con?

Wait. I takes upwards of 3-5 minutes, especially the first few times.

BTW, the search button is your friend!

but it doesnt say its trying. If i click go from gps or find gps it jumps to the same place every time (the place it loads at first time). Its like it doesnt even try. What should i have my network settings set to? also there is a red cross next to the picture of the satelite on the main GPS screen. Btw, what does it use the network for? I dont want it to cost me a fortune each time i use it.

You could still let people know what the solutions to your problems were?

I was beeing really stupid. I was trying to access it through the Maps software when I was supposed to go through the GPS software.:icon14:

Its the same thing... The map software will lock onto the GPS eventually (you just don't get to visually see it lock on)
