I deleted my UK tomtom 6 map in error. Where can I redownload the map for UK (not western europe ones) so my current activation code will work so I dont need to rebuy it.
Please help its expensive software.

How about the CD that came with the software when you bought it?
To be honest I dont have a CD, i might have it somewhere, but if I do its probably lost. I got the phone on ebay with TomTom preinstalled. Apparently the guy didnt realise the onboard GPS didnt work with TomTom and thought Maps2Go sucked. He did supply me with the code incase things went wrong, but now you mention it that seems weird when theirs no backup.
Anyway, I have the activation code for the UK maps, any idea where I can get em?

Suggest you go back to the seller and demand proof of purchase for TT and the original Maps/Setup CD. If he does not oblige, raise a Dispute on PayPal for counterfeit goods and provide TomTom support with his name and address.
Apparently this all the software like tomtom home is on the memory card, and I was supposed to do a back up onto my pc, which I didnt 😞
Can someone please tell me where to download the map file?
Contact tomtom customer services-I am sure they will be happy to help you get a copy of your maps. Next time remember to backup 😉.
