Is there one out there? If more than one what's better? I'm using an E70. Thanks.
Free MSN Messenger program??
I'm using HIER and so far it works pretty good. Is there a way to keep it logged in at all times even while you switch back to your phones main menu to create a new SMS or search contacts?
Okay, answering all my own questions here accept one: When I back out it will leave me logged in but when someone sends me a message it sends an audible alert even if I put my cell phone in silent mode. I don't see a way to get HIER to jive w/my cell to know when to go silent and I also can't seem to get it to make the phone vibrate as an alert either. I can mute it but it doesn't vibrate, just no sound.
You can also use IMHere... http://www.funrungames.com/IMHere.php
interesting

I installed both the standard version of this as well as the lite version and both were not as good as HIER in my opinion. The interface was more clumsy and not as intuitive. It took more selections to send a message and I couldn't see the ability to have several chat sessions open at once although you can have several users in a single chat (I think) which is nice. I guess have them both installed and use IMHere for multiple contact chats and HIER for the rest of your IM needs.
Thanks for posting it and it was worth a shot but I think I'll stick with HIER. About the only changes I would make to HIER would be to make it go into vibrate when the phone goes to silent mode or to alert with both an audible alert as well as vibrate when the phone is not in silent mode. I would also like to be able to send/receive emoticons.
Other than that it's been great for what I need it for. My favorite part has to be that I can sign in and hit the 'End' key to exit back to my menu. This way I can send/receive text messages or use any of the phone's other functions while still logged into MSN.
