NOKIA E65 and SYNC

2 replies · 7,937 views · Started 01 June 2007

I'm trying to use the sync feature of my nokia e65 and having a problem.

I want to use funambol to sync all my information from my E65 and outlook (and maybe a webbased email service).

The problem is, everytime I try and connect (using WLAN) I get the following error message:

invalid host address

initially I thought that might be because it couldn't see the server but having verified the address in the sync option on the phone I know this isn't the case. In addition, putting a wrong address displays a different warning, saying the server is not responding.

My thoughts are that funambol is returning invalid data possible. Has anybody had any luck with the E65 and sync data over the NET.

Any ideas or previous experience?

PG

The Sync feature is temperamental at best, one day it will work, the next day it won't, so don't expect too much from it.

The host address will be something like : h**p://<SERVER>/syncml

Under the specific applications, the remote database will be something like : ./Calendar

Yep, that's the format I've entered in the settings and followed the instructions in Funombol.

Still having the same problem.
