Problemas with Sync of SE P800 and Windows XP Pro SP1 — Sony Ericsson P800, P900 and P910

I can not sync the Phone with Windows XP, I can not even to connect the phone to the PC, I have tried MANY TIMES, please find attached the details :

Hi I have a Notebook :

- Sony Vaio SRX88 with Windows XP Pro SP1
- The USB Base for SE P800 connected to a USB port
- I have installed the USB drivers from the CD ( \Drivers )
- The device is : USB Cable DCU-11 (COM3)
- The driver is SusTeen 1.6.0.2, 10/21/2002
- I have installed PC Suite for SE PE800
- When I select in the mRouter icon the Link Properties
- Connection : USB
- COM Port : COM3
- I get the following error :
"It is not possible to enable the port, as it maybe in use by another application"

I have installed, re-installed, un-install the application and drivers many times ( at least 10 ) and there is no way to make it works, please your advice how to proceed, thanks

If you have had another Ericsson phone sync software installed on you PC before you have to completly remove those programs and files before you install the pc suite. Including the Ericsson folder in the program files folder.

I had several customers who couldn't sync until we did that. After it worked fine.

I've got almost the same problem. But I'm slightly luck. I can get the connection going, having able to install software one the phone. Unfortunately I just cannot sync with outlook. Have reinstalling the PC suit, as well as reinstall outlook 2002 but just cannot get it sync. Help...
