Hi all, got my replacement N95 today after my first one kept rebooting. I have tried to install several skins on the new phone but all i get is a dialog box pop up saying "expired certificate"
I have checked in the options in App Manager and installation is set to all...and not just signed.
This is the first thing ive tried to do so its completely clean.
Any help would be welcome.
Thanks.

i am having the same problem.. al though i did install FExplorer n some other apps like clock screensaver n all.. these apps installed properly.. but some of the themes i recently downloaded r givin cert. error everytime i try to install them ? any help ?
When theme makers make a theme they have to assign some kind of ceryificate date to it. this expires and thus you get the expired certificate warning. It's easy to get around though, just set your phone's date back a couple of years, install the theme, then set the date back to today 😊
i just did it, didnt install them, still had the expired certif message

Is better search for that same software with renew certificate.

Hello All- I'm new here and I know this is an older thread but wanted to shed some light on installing apps with expired certificates. You DO have to set the date back on your phone, but you MUST set it to within a few days of when the app you are trying to install was created/signed. For example- I found a kick-a*s theme for my E62 but it had an expired cert. and wouldn't install. I set the date back a couple years and still no luck. I went back to the site where I downloaded the theme and found the date the original creator posted it- which was 7/12/2007. So I set the date on my phone to 7/14/2007 and the theme installed without a problem. You have to set the date for after the app was created but before it could possibly have expired so a few days after it's posted usually works. Hope this helps!
yeah, changing dates does take a bit of trail and error
