Phone memory almost full

On my 6630 Ive noticed that over time the C:\ drive (phone memory) is getting quite full even though Im not saving anything on it.

I currently have 708kb of 9928kb free

But yet when I go in to the C:\ drive using F-Explore I only have 2 folders.

Nokia which takes up 61.2kb
System which takes up 1.6mb

Where has all the other space gone? im sure when i got the phone i had atleast 5-6mb free.

C:\System\Data\mg2
Delete the content of this folder (or the whole folder) and you'll have a surprise.

Hmm... delete tis ones:
C:\System\Data\cbs (will require a rename first)
C:\System\Install\install.log
I don't know what you can delete more. I assume that all your messages are on MMC, so delete also C:\System\Mail if exists.

Ever since i deleted C:\System\Data\mg2 my phone refuses to remember what theme i had selected when i turn it off and back on again.

There's nothing of any great size for them other 2 items u mention either.

Is it possible just to backup like the call/grps logs by them selfs? i allready have my contacts and messages backed up so if i can do that ill just format the phone.

As far as I know the call duration/ amount of data tranfered are deleted only by hard reseting. Soft format does not affect them.

Only if you make a backup on the memory card, but problems will appear again after restoring. The best thing is to make again all your settings, even it will take you around two hours to rearrange back all your stuff.
