Hi, as well as navigating via maps of the earth, I would like to be able to navigate via maps of the stars.
I am also interested in Astronomy - and something of this nature would be a good learning tool.
I have a hunch that the answer will probably be no - but does anyone know if there is any good GPS star mapping software available for Symbian and the N95?
Thanks!
The only thing I know about is Deepsky600 for HanDBase but that isn't graphical. Instead it is a catalogue of 600 objects, with their name, RA, DEC, Constellation, Mag, Surface Brightness, description, and size etc. Not good for navigating but helpful for learning.
Tom Cruise went that way ------>
(Im sorry I couldn't resist)
Not specifically GPS-enabled, but take a look at Solun'-u.

It's a Java applet that works well on Series 60 devices. You could use the N95's GPS functions to determine wher you are, and then type that information into Solun'-u and it will show you a star map.
Not for Symbain sorry, but there is some stuff for Windows Mobile phones. Not that it help much.
there are GPS softwares !
try to find them on SE official site...🙄
How about Google Sky?
