Theme issues

Hi there,

I'm hoping somebody can help me with this question cause i'm a former SE user not fully up to speed yet with my E65.
Here goes, i've been downloading some theme's to give my gizmo a personal touch but some of them really lose their essence due to row of icons :
messages/calender/web/BT/clock/groups
and the the "calender item" and "WLAN scan" stuck below the row of icons.
Is there a way to remove these from my screen so i can fully enjoy a theme

LIke you, I'm a former SE user and also find the Symbian OS hard to get to grips with. But this one I think I can solve. Go to Tools->Settings->Phone->Standby Mode and switch Active Standby off. That should do the trick!

yes the suggestion given above is correct and i guess help clear your display
