Nokia has today published the support pages for the upcoming E90. Going by past experience, this means the sim-free E90 will probably become available in European shops within the next week or two (many Finnish retailers have reported a launch date of 12th June). The release dates for network-locked and non-European markets are less predictable.

One of the Finnish carriers started advertising that E90 is available 11. June onwards and that they have the phones on stock.
Why is this in Series 80 section? E90 is Series 60 phone.
It's in Series 80 because this story will be of interest to most people who currently own a Series 80 device. Series 80 is being ended, and the E90 is the natural successor to the platform. Nokia use the same Communicator brand and an almost identical form factor as they did with Series 80, and of course Series 80 and S60 both use the Symbian OS.

Krisse - How much is the E90 going to retail at?
I am a communicator fan , I had all the models (9000, 9200, 9200i,9500) and now I ‎‎did buy the new Nokia E90 as soon as it is released, it does not use series 80 any ‎more now ‎it use series 60 like most of the N modelsI don't know why Nokia did that ‎
I lost on of the unique and powerful feature of the communicators that is the search ‎‎feature ‎
I use to be abe to search in the phone book by any part of any field in the list like if I ‎‎am looking for John Smith I can write only (J M) or (J Sm) or any part of any ‎section ‎of the name ‎or any other field (company, job, address, Mobile,...)‎
In addition, I can get all names under (company A) or all jobs like (sales) or even by ‎‎phone number.‎
I totally lost a very powerful search engine with the new E90 and this make me very ‎‎upset.‎
Yes, they added a lot of new feature but I lost a very very good one by going to series ‎‎‎60, to bad.‎
