Remotely track N95?

Would it be *possible* to write an app that runs in the background and automatically sends a text giving the grid co-ords from the GPS - thus allowing you to use the N95 as a remote tracking device?

Does such software exist or is in planning?

Co-pilot has software so that you can give a password and a website to friends and they can track you from their home, and i think you can send sms updates of travel with it also.

Hope this helps

It would be difficult to track the phone from in someones pocket as when the slide is shut the GPS doesnt work very well.

Yeah, but it would give you a rough idea where they were.

It would make a great security app to track stolen phones.
