Formatting mem card on phone isnt recognised by pc

ok so I cant think of the best thread title to describe it. First off, bought a 2GB card put it in pc it says its not formatted, so format now? clicked yes and went on with that. As it is formatted I put the music I wanted on it in the root folder, then put it into the phone and detects nothing, even in file browser and by refreshing sound player.

So, I thought I'd format it on the phone, did that, it makes all the necessary folders like Video/Sounds/Digital Sounds/Tones etc after taking a pic and video etc. Thought oh cool its sorted so put it in the pc, same message - not formatted, format now? obviously I dont want to as it has quite a bit of data on it now that I want to keep.

I can get things onto/from the phone via the bluetooth program but its just annoying having to wait bluetooth times instead of the data speeds of a 2GB micro sd card.

I know my prob is a little bit vague but has anyone else had this happen and know a solution? I have a 512mb card (which came with phone) and can quite easily put it in the built-in card reader and copy files to it no problem. But then put the 2GB in and it brings the message.

Thanks in advance,
Rhys

Yea I had same problem with 2GB Sandisk. Stick it in your PC memory card reader and it doesnt think its formatted.

Although you can use the USB cable to the phone to get a reasonable speed (rather than your bluetooth)
