How to lock the e65 keypad?

Sorry if this has been asked before but I'm trying to figure out how to lock the keypad on the e65! I don't just mean the obvious one where you slide the keypad shut and it asks you; but what if the keypad is already shut, or if the keypad is open?

I know on my N93 for example, if you press and hold the camera button it locks the keypad... also am aware on both N93/E65 of the power-button and selecting Lock keypad but that's even slower than sliding the phone open and shut again!

I remember reading the voice controls are apparently able to lock the keypad but I can't figure out the command for it >__> *keeps guessing*

Thanks

Oh and one more note if anyone knows, does anyone know where to get the Nokia games for this phone? Mine came with nothing (from 3) and in the past, I've downloaded games like "Card Deck" and "Snakes" off Nokia's various support sites for other s60 phones (such as with my N93).

You can lock the keypad with left softkey + '*', I suspect. A short press of the power key will also bring up a list of profile options + power off and a "Lock keypad". You can scroll down with the directional key and select with center, or you can keep doing short power key presses to change the selection and then a long one to choose the selected option.

Apart from your own suggestions and N/A's ones, you might want to have a look at mlock http://www.allaboutsymbian.com/software/item/mLock.php which had been developed back in the N80 days. This free application simply locks your keypad. If you affect it to the left soft key in the standby screen (which is quite a useless shortcut key anyway as any application affected to it takes ages to start) then you can lock your keypad by simply pressing the soft key regardless of whether the slider and open or shut.

Thanks for your advice guys. I naturally thought the left softkey and star trick would work since it goes back as far as I can remember with Nokias- but it doesn't. Unlike my N93 where you press left softkey, and there's that second or two delay before it does something (where you'd normally have time to press star); the E65 instantly launches the shortcut (which for me, is the camera- since there is no camera dedicated button or physical switch to activate the camera).

I'm going to have a look at that mLock program... might assign it to my shortcut "own" key! Thanks!

Hello! Just a hunch! Press the left softkey and then the right softkey immediately..
