I have a plum N95.
I changed from a a wm5 pocket PC about 2 weeks ago. The first handset I got had one problem. When I held the phone to my left ear there is a high pitched tone rather like the sound made by a cicada. I assumed there was a fault and had the handset replaced by T-mobile (my provider). I received my new handset on Thursday. It also makes the same sound in the same ear.
My girlfriend hears a high pitched tone in her right ear. I do not hear a tone from my girlfriends phone (a nokia), my old handset, my land line or the phones at work.
Does anyone else have the same problem. If so has anyone found a fix?
I have updated the firmware.
