Just a quick one!
I have noticed when you slide the screen down and discover the media keys everything goes into landscape mode, then if you slide it back to the middle it stays like that (but obviously locked). I would like to know, is there a way of sliding the screen up to discover the normal keypad AND keep it in landscape mode? This would be really useful as the SatNav is much better in landscape imho!
Thanks people!

Not that im aware unless their is some software to do it. You can have this mode when using web browsing, with keypad down.
you could try "rotate me", which does that for other 3rd edition phones. don't know if it works with the n95 though.

Just tried it on my N95 (after dev signing the unsigned sis), and I'm afraid it doesn't seem to work - nothing happens at all when you select the Rotate command.
It's all done with magnets. I noticed this when I sat my phone on my work blackberry case (magnetic clasp). It seems the phone uses magnets to detect which was it is slid open etc. If you put one near the middle of the right hand edge when its locked, it unlocks and goes landscape (thinks its been slid downwards) but I can't seem to make it stay like that while opening the full keypad.
I also wouldn't think this does the phone much good!
Ah, youre right! I couldn't figure out why the phone kept unlocking when I put it in my magnetic pouch, I assumed it was too tight on both 'unlock' buttons!
