Kingston Dual Voltage (1.8/3.3) not recognized by Nokia 6682

I bought a Kingstgron MMC Mobile MMCM Dual Voltage (1.8/3.3) 1 Gig Card and when I insert it in my 6682 it says "No memory card inserted." It works fine in my PC card reader--I reformated it Fat. I'm just wondering if this card is not compatible.

Across this forum you can find some complains about rs-dv MMC cards from kingston. So could be the card the problem. Trade for a new one, and from another brand.

I finally got the card recognized, but now it says it is corrupt. I reformat it, but still its corrupt. How do I know if a new card (different brand) would not have the same problem?

You dont:frown: Only try before buy! But usually they dont give any problem, usually...

Are you sure it is a dual voltage? I had a similar issue with a SanDisk "mobile" wich was running only on 3 volts.

It says dual voltage right on it--specs are 1.8/3.3. I got it at NewEgg.com, Iten No. N82E16820134098. If you go there and put in that item No. you can see the specs. I can't post the link until I have 10 posts total.

OK, I've seen the item and it looks like the MMC should work. Perhaps is damaged, can you use it with a card reader?

I can use it with a card reader no problem.
