N95 How Do You Hide Calendar/Tasks?

6 replies · 2,398 views · Started 12 June 2007

Hi there guys im new here so be gentle with me, hope someone can solve this query. On the N95 I do NOT want to see my daily calendar details on the active display (Today Screen) is there anyway of hiding / deleting or tweaking with 3rd party software so it doesn’t show?

Been there tried that. Losing hope no one seems to have come across this yet in any of the sites across the net :frown:

Only way I know is to either not have anything in Calendar, etc., or disabling Active standby entirely.

Very frustrating, another example of how sucky Symbain is at the moment. It's utterly pathetic when it comes to stuff like this, can't wait to go back to Windows Mobile after my 12 month contract.

I mean FFS, what are Nokia playing at? Anyone can glance at your phones screen and see your private appointments.

This is possibly the worst work-around ever conceived but if you set a solid colour wallpaper the same colour as the calendar text it won't be visible.

I agree with you though, I often wonder / despair about Nokia's thought processes on such matters. I'd really like to use the active standby but never do for the privacy reasons.
