N80 vs N95

hi,

Well i just made the upgrade to the N95 after living overall happily with an N80 for a year...

As some people seemed to want to know the differences in user experience here is my sumary after 1 day. Note this is my opinion, and only after 1 day... And this is by no means a N95 is better then N80, just highlighting the differences. I've tried to stay clear of the obvious specification differences...

Pros:

N95 feels a lot faster, quicker menu loads, etc... etc...
Boot time is considerably reduced...
Weight is down, considerably lighter...
Bigger screen...
Feature Pack 1, lots of cool stuff, like if an app is still running, you will see a little mark next to the icon in the menu screen, so easy to keep track of whats running...
Considerably more phone memory for apps.

Cons:

Screen resolution is definitely a downgrade.
Slider is even more loose then on my N80.
Fells a bit cheaper then the N80, maybe due to different plastics/weight, or just I'm used to my N80, time will tell.

Misc:

First impressions with battery life seemed it was a bit better, but this really requires more time to make a true judgment.

Also had a little play with the camera, and the autofocus is a welcome addition. But pictures still have that look of over-processed images that all Nokia's suffer from, imho.

GPS is good too, but does take a while to lock. Hopefully will be addressed in later firmwares. Did some geotagging, pretty cool stuff, get a gps fix, take a pic, find a wifi hotspot, upload to flikr, all from the phone.

TV out is a great addition as well, play movies/photo/games on your tv, finally a true portable media player.

The PowerVR 3d chip seems pretty good too, infact quite impressed with its 3d rendering capabilities.

thats about it for now,
ut.
