Using laptop's internet via bluetooth

Is it possible to connect via bluetooth to a laptop and then use that internet connection over your phone to browse or do anything else?

So they have a version for the n70 and the n90 but not the n80. i'm still going to try and get it to work though.

All you gotta do is download the bluetooth modem drivers for your phone, (if your using the N80 then follow THIS LINK) Then install the drivers and then just set your phone up as a modem via your bluetooth software, then create a New Connection via Windows New Connection Wizard, enter in the settings for your ISP, and select your phone as the modem to use for the connection, and that's it. Connect to the internet and start browsing.

So that would allow me to use my laptop's internet connection so i won't have to pay any GPRS fees? or is that just making my phone my laptop's modem? I think it's doing the latter. Just to be clear i already have internet on my laptop and want to just transfer that capability to my phone via bluetooth.

I actually have found a GnuBox version that is supposed to work for the n80 here:

cyke64.googlepages.com/gnubox_s60v3.sis

but it is unsigned and my n80 gives me certificate errors, so i'm currently in the process of figuring out how to sign it myself using these instructions:

gosymbian.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=757

except the symbiansigned registration page is kind of screweing up on me.

Just follow step by step the gosymbian and is easy. Critical is the batch file... autosign...

so the problem i'm having is a dumb one. at symbiansigned.com when i go to register the captcha (the picture with the letter and numbers in them that you have to type to verify you're not a spammer) doesn't appear. so i can't type int he verification code and i can't type register and therefore can't do one of the last steps. if anyone has a solution to this or can give me any kind of bogus username and password for that site it would be very appreciated! it's kind of important i get this working tonight and i've already emailed them and am planning on calling them to see if i can register over the phone.

Oh alright I completely misunderstood what you wanted to do. Yeah my way would allow you to use the GPRS on your phone as the internet connection for browsing on a laptop, your trying to do the opposite. My mistake.
