N80 always trying to connect to an access point?

Hi,
since some days I cant stop my phone trying to search for an access point? Where can I stop this behavior?
Any help is appreciated.

try downloading WLAN wizard

that should put a wifi status bar on ur Standby screen (if you are using active standby).. you can turn it off from there

I had a N70 that did something similar,
it would search for an access point every few days,
and if I didn't stop it manually it would freeze after 5 minutes searching.and need a restart.

Eventually I got fed up and updated the software via NSU, then did a hard reset.

The little angel ain't put a foot wrong since.

There's a program in there somewhere looking to go online. I was having the same problem and it turned out to be the 'Mobizines' application. Removed it (it was rubbish anyway) and problem solved.

yeah, clearly something is using up your wifi connection trying to get out... so that also moght give you an answer to your other post about how your battery runs out at night?!
