6630 Won't charge, boot, etc, AND I WANTED TO SELL IT Grrrrrrr...

Hey. I wonder if anyone here can help me - I ahve searched the forums and though I found similar questions I couldn't find the exact same thing....

I have a 6630 that I really wanted to sell - just for 25 or something on ebay. It was working great a month ago when I was playing around using it as a webcam. I must have left it turned on though and now the battery has been completely drained. Now I go to test it last night and zippo. Not a thing. It won't even give me the charging screen.

I have checked the charger is working - there is a current flowing through it.

I don't have another phone (sold my other 6630 some months back) or battery to test things with.

I have tried unplugging everything, removing the battery and leaving everything disassembled for 15 minutes and then re-assembling and leaving it to charge overnight as I know this can sometimes work in phones. No luck.

I know this phone was working fine before the battery went flat so I find it hard to believe that either the battery or phone are at *fault* - however how can I start charging it again? GAH!

Any help much appreciated. And if anyone wants to buy a 6630 with questionable battery that was working otherwise then please let me know. Grrrrr.

Cheers,
Louise

Plug the charger and leave it like that at least 30 minutes. You can also try with another battery.

If the battery discharges too much nothing will happen when you plug it in, has to sit for a while to get past a certain charge level before phone activates. Though i have heard of battery's discharging so much that their is no return. As internally the batteries have to keep a certain level of charge so they can charge again.

It also happened to me once, with my spare battery. I forgot to charge it and it stayed like that for about one month. The same thing happened, nothing was displayed, no sound to indicate charge, nothing. I left it plugged and after around 30 minutes the display showed charging.
