I have what is probably going to be considered a very newbie question. I have just recieved a new N73 from Orange, apart from it being black with bloody great Orange logos on. the have put their crap all over the Symbian OS.
I have figured out how to chance my product code ect and use the updater to change the firmware.
but...
What product code do i need. I want pretty much the generic Nokia stuff (it is the music edition of the phone, but i assume the only difference is packaged software)
I have read the list of product codes and in the top lists it has Euro one and Euro 2 (some of these are repeaded in the same list with different product codes.)
I chose 0539101 (seems to be Euro 1 for music edition)
Do i need to use a music edition PC if i have a music edition phone?
Which is best PC for the UK?
Where can i get the Orange connection software from GPRS and WAP ect after i flash the ROM? (this is the one bit i have no idea about yet) if i backup all data and settings to the micro SD can i restore them after the flash including connection settings?
if reading this newbie question annoys you, sorry i did try to warn you in the thread title. and as for telling me to search next time. i have tried serching i have sucessfully found out how to change the rom without bothering anyone so please help me with the one small thing
