I entered a contacts birthday on the n95 and expected it to appear in the calendar? it didn't 😞
am I missing something?

I don't think it does, it's just there for info when you look at the contact.
this sucks. every phone should do this.
Tell me about it. I'm still sulking about the way it won't sync repeating memos (when the N80 did).
You'd like to think a feature pack wouldn't remove some functionallity...
It are not only birthdays that are no carried over to other applications. I went through a time consuming process to enter all my friends longitude and lattidude in the contacts, asuming they would show up in the maps view.
They didn't, you would have to re-enter them again for the mapviewer. That sucks!

ouch 😞 both of these seem such a logical thing to do its a shame they haven't been implemented (yet maybe?)
If you enter the birthday information in Outlook and then sync back to the N95 then reminders will be sorted out as you expect. But not if you enterthe birthday directly in the N95.

You can always install BBirthday. This app fixed the problem 😉
